Former football star gets an endorsement for a 3rd district run
Ocean County Republicans have endorsed former NFL star Jon Runyan in the race for the 3rd Congressional District seat. The vote of confidence was announced at this weekend’s GOP County Convention in Toms River. The Burlington County GOP already has announced its support for the 36-year old, who played for both the Eagles and the Chargers. That 3rd Congressional seat currently is held by Democrat John Adler.
